VISTA III Media Increases
Internet Speeds
February 4, 2004 - Vista III Media announced today that it has doubled the speed customers receive from Vista Express Internet Service.
Vista Regional Manager Roger Shearer said "we have recently added more bandwidth which has allowed us to increase the speeds we offer to our High Speed customers. Cable typically offers speeds unmatched by other services. We wanted to make sure our customers' Internet experience was top notch."
Vista also announced that it has installed a Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) service in the Oxford Square. Wi-Fi is a wireless Internet technology that allows customers who have a wireless card in their computers to connect to the Internet. This service is available to Vista Express High Speed Internet customers at no additional cost. Shearer said "we believe whenever we have the opportunity to enhance a customer's service we should do it. Oxford Square is a busy place and our customers spend time there and in today's world being able to be connected is important to people."
Vista also announced that it will launch High Definition TV (HDTV), Video-On-Demand (VOD) and Digital Video Recorders (DRV's) later in 2004.
