Vista III Media Introduces
Video on Demand
(April 18, 2005) - Vista III Media, LLC ("Vista") announced today that it has introduced Video on Demand "VOD" to the majority of its customers in northeast Mississippi. Video on Demand is a new service, unavailable on satellite, which puts the TV viewer in control and completely changes the TV viewing experience. VOD provides access to hundreds of hours of programming instantly. The viewer can pause, rewind and fast forward for the ultimate in convenience. The programming includes hours of free viewing, current movies and specials, and quality children's programming. Customers that subscribe to HBO or other premium Digital Services will have exclusive access to specials, series and films, at no additional cost. On Demand programming is like having dozens of new channels, and lets the viewer decide what he wants to watch, when he wants to watch it!
Vista Regional Manager Roger Shearer stated "We are very pleased to be able to offer this cutting edge technology that provides more program choices to our customers. It is easy to use and will change for ever how people watch television." Shearer added "On Demand Television complements the other services we have recently introduced, High Definition Television (HDTV) and Digital Video Recorders (DVRs). Our customers can enjoy the most advanced cable television services available." He also noted that later this summer, Vista would introduce Digital Telephone, an advanced technology that provides full service, quality telephone service at substantial savings.
Vista currently provides Cable Television Services, including High Speed Internet Service to many communities in northeast Mississippi.
